8. Hydrazine Sulfate

In 1968, Gold who is a medical doctor found that hydrazine sulfate could block a key enzyme in the liver that allows lactic acid to be converted into glucose. He obtained remarkable results treating various forms of cancer with this compound. His work was confirmed by a team of Russian scientists of the Petrov Research Institute of Oncology, USSR. From their findings, they confirmed that:

1)       hydrazine sulfate retards the growth of animal cancers.

2)       hydrazine sulfate works by stopping gluconeogenesis in the liver.

3)       hydrazine sulfate is relatively non-toxic

4)       hydrazine sulfate controls cancerous growth in human beings.

However, other researchers could not find the benefits of hydrazine sulfate. The use of this compound remains highly controversial until today. Since hydrazine sulfate is a relatively safe compound when used under medical supervision, it should be given to patients with symptoms of cachexia.

The recommended dosage for hydrazine sulfate is: 50mg. to be taken for 5 days, followed by 50mg. twice a day for the next 5 days, then 50mg.  3 times a day for another 20 days.

Continued medication will depend on the response after the 30-day period.

Hydrazine sulfate must not be given to patients who are taking alcohol, barbiturates, anti-depressants and anti-phychotics.

In addition to this, more than 25mg. of Vitamin B6 and more than 3gm. of Vitamin C may interfere with hydrazine sulfate’s activity. These nutrients should be taken at least 2 hours before or after hydrazine sulfate medication.
